Facility admins can now easily track residents who leave for vacations, family visits, hospital stays, or SNF transfers β ensuring their Place of Service history stays accurate and up to date.
π§ How It Works:
Change a residentβs admission status to Off-Campus
Choose the reason (e.g., vacation, hospitalization, SNF, family visit, or other)
Add extra details like hospital name and free-text notes
The system will:
Track how long the resident is away
Update the Place of Service History
Send proactive alerts before ALW compliance thresholds are reached
π Built-In Safeguards:
Automatic notifications when a resident nears:
30 days in hospital
60 days in SNF
30 days for any type of leave
Prompts staff:
βThis resident has been away for [X] days. Update Admission Status?β
π Medication Reminders:
When marking a resident Off-Campus, youβll be prompted to confirm whether medications were sent with them β supporting care continuity and reducing missed doses.
