New Medication Setting – Control Visibility on Med Pass

We’ve introduced a flexible new setting that gives facilities more control over how medications appear in Med Pass.

💊 New Checkbox: “Show on Med Pass”

Now available when adding or editing a medication, this option allows users to toggle whether a medication is visible during Med Pass:

• ✅ Checked (default) – Medication appears in Med Pass and administration is recorded on the MAR.

• ⛔ Unchecked – Medication is hidden from Med Pass but remains documented in the MAR with full history intact.

🔁 Dynamic Updates, No Data Loss

• Turning OFF visibility removes the med from future Med Passes but retains all historical data in the MAR.

• Turning it back ON will re-display the med without overwriting or removing any past records.

• Tailors workflows for non-routine medications, supplements, or internal tracking meds.

• Helps prevent clutter or confusion during med administration rounds.

• Supports compliance and documentation without compromising clarity.
