Multilingual Progress Notes Now Supported via Chatter

🏝 Roadmap

Documenting care just became more inclusive and accessible.

Curenta now allows users to write progress notes in their preferred language using the Chatter assistant. The system will automatically detect and translate these entries into English, saving both versions for clarity, accuracy, and compliance.

πŸ“ How It Works:

  1. User writes a progress note in any language via Chatter.

  2. The system auto-detects the language and translates it into English.

  3. In the Resident Profile > Notes section, both entries are saved:

    • Original Note (in the user’s language)

    • English Translation (clearly labeled)

⚠️ If translation fails, the original note is still saved, and an error message notifies the user.

βœ… What You’ll See:

  • Clear distinction between original and translated content

  • A unified experience in the Notes view

  • Seamless communication across multilingual teams

This enhancement helps ensure care documentation is accurate and universally understood, without requiring staff to change their preferred language.
